Police Officer Cristian Guity is a Detective Specialist at Auxiliary Police Section since September 2023. Also served at Patrol Borough Candidate Assessment Division, Transit Bureau District 4 Service, he started in January 2018.

Officer Guity has a heart for Community Outreach. Upon joining the police department, Police Officer Guity became involved with the NYPD Fraternal Police Officers For Christ, where he currently serves as President. He has done outreach throughout various departments, including visiting several commands and addressing colleagues and peers at roll calls regarding the NYPD Prayer Line.

He is a member of the NYPD La Jara Band, the NYPD's Hispanic band bringing people together with music while also working to bridge the gap between police and the community and has participated in several events. In July 2023, Police Officer Guity hosted the first-ever Evangelism Training in the NYPD, over 100 members of service attended the training at the Police Academy in College Point.

He is also a member of the Garifuna-American In Law Enforcement Association Inc., a non-profit civic organization dedicated to bridging the gap between law enforcement agencies and the community by working together in common goals.

Police Officer Guity was born and raised in the Bronx and developed roots within the faith community at an early age. He is an alum of both Borough of Manhattan Community College and John Jay College.
